October... This date is a really
important day for me and all the Albanian folks. It is the Independence Day of
Albania. Quick background story:
Today
104 years ago (1912), Ismail Qemali (a leader of the
Albanian national movement) raised the Albanian flag in Vlore and after a lot
of attacks he proclaimed the Independence of Albania. Since then we have
been a free country. I can never say it enough... I am so proud to be an

Seth and I went to Red Robin and celebrated it. Seth wanted to do something special even though we have been trying really hard to limit our spending lately and I thought it was so cute. :)

Also, my first Thanksgiving here in the States was awesome until both of us had to go to work and deal with so many people because Black Friday prices :P Here are a couple of pictures (we had a family session pictures in the morning so that was super fun)
We put up our Christmas tree, but I won't show that to you till next post. Stay tuned! It is going to be soon...

DeleteI would love to learn Albanian do you have any advice? P.S you and Seth are so cute!
ReplyDeleteA small advice would be by starting with the basics like the alphabet but always make sure that you are listening to Albanian songs, or watching Albanian videos even if you don't understand them yet. That's how I learned English and other languages that I know now :)
