Winter Outfit + Link Up

One of my favorite parts about fashion and blogging is that I am able to experiment with my outfits and try different looks. Here in Indiana winters are super cold but I love it when I am able to pull off a very warm sporty winter outfit that I really like. This one was one of them.

I love this look for everyday, comfy and sporty outfits. This buffalo plaid shirt is my favorite ones. Its so easy to style so I choose these black jeans and this long black jacket that its sold out but I have linked similar one below. I used to always wear lace socks with dresses but this time I wanted to try a different style and wore my favorite Nike sneakers. I really liked the combination. What do you guys think? My friend Jenna (@styledjen) and I did this 5 day outfit challenge over on instagram and I loved it. I am going to share what Jenna and I chose as categories and how  I styled them.

Gigi Floral Dress + Life Update

Hi everyone!

If you know me, you know how much I love floral dresses and this dress is one of those that I love so much! This post is a collaboration with Cleo Madison. Since I haven't been here on my blog at all lately, I just wanted to share a little update on me and Seth. We are back in school and spending the day today taking pictures was the best to get away from studying and homework. This semester I am also doing an internship, I am excited about it. Here in Indiana it is super cold and snowy but I am enjoying taking pictures outside even though I get into the car every 5 minutes or less :p Snow just makes me happy for some reason! During the winter break Seth and I had such a great time going to different places, taking pictures and it was definitely it was very needed. I dont know how I feel about being back to normal life so we will see. :P

I love velvet everything. I remember when I was a little girl and my mom would always dress me up with this cute black and red velvet dress, and since then I have been in love with velvet. Thats why this collaboration is my fav! 

My dress is from My Sister's Closet . They have the cutest clothes ever, either if you are trying to dress up or just a casual/everyday outfit. My dress is the "Marci Velvet Dress in Black" . I love how this dress is perfect length and it is so elegant for any occasions! Since its the holidays  and to make this outfit a little bit more festive I pared the dress with this gorgeous bag from Charming Charlie , its called "Marissa Classic Satchel"  in color red (obvy :P) 

Another one of my favorite parts of this outfit is my jewelry! These pieces are part of  Pagoda collection from Zales. I love how this three chain necklace looks in this black dress, and I am not a hoop earring girl at all but I really liked this combination!

Black Puffer Jacket

Okay guys, so this black puffer jacket is from Zara (click here for the exact one), I absolutely love it! It is so warm and it also comes in blue navy. I am wearing a small. I love the gold detail :)
The shirt is from Downeast but is out of stock now. How I Style Different Types of Hats

If I had to pick one favorite trends going on this fall, it would be hands down hats! So I decided to do this post, and share with you some of my favorite types of hats and how I style them.

#1. BEANIES

I am loving this two tone beanie so much!! Seriously, I think you can style beanies however you want, like with jeans, leggings or you can even dress it up.

#2. CABBY HATS

This cabby hats are such a great trend this fall and I am loving it. The way I style them is a little bit more fancier I would say. I paired this one with this basic tee and a high wasted white skirt. Just to give it a little bit of a different look I added this necklace which is one of my favorite ones. Put on some booties and you are good to go ;)

#3. FEDORAS

Fedora hats never go out of style. I usually wear them dressed up or down. I like how this one goes so good with this plaid t-shirt and I actually wore the same skirt as above.

#4. BASEBALL CAP 

You can never go wrong with baseball hats. I think these are perfect for days that you don't actually want to do your hair. I always style them in a sporty way obviously. This is my to-go outfit for those days Seth and I are going bowling or just hanging out.

Fall Outfit

Hey guy, happy Wednesday! I hope you are having a great week so far.

I have been loving fall here in Indiana! The colors have changed completely and it has been pretty good weather. Well, it is kinda cold for me, but not that bad. I just love how you can wear anything in this weather just to feel cozy! I went shopping a couple of days ago, and I have been wanting a pair of jeans with embroidered flowers on them so bad, so I finally was able to find a pair. I absolutely love them! I paired these awesome jeggings/ jeans with a basic black shirt and this jacket that I got a killer deal on. It is originally $180 , I got it for $40!!!!! (all links are going to be down below.) I love wearing black in the fall, I think it looks gorgeous.  This outfit it is probably one of my favorites for this fall season, so easy and practical.
